Sinidu Gebru- the first woman Member of Parliament, feminist, journalist and mother of the incumbent Ethiopian ambassador to the US Dr. Samuel Assefa, passed away yesterday, it was learnt. It's to be recalled that Sinidu was given an honorary Doctor of Law in 2005 from the Addis Ababa University.
